The phrase “keep the core clean” was first introduced by former SAP CTO Björn Goerke during his keynote at SAP TechEd 2018 — almost six years ago.
In today’s fast-moving and constantly changing business world, companies need to adapt quickly to stay competitive and grow. A perfect example of this is how Netflix’s bold innovations completely changed the entertainment industry, leaving Blockbuster behind. It’s a reminder that innovation and agility go hand in hand.
CIOs today have a tough job — balancing innovation, scalability, and cost control all at once. One thing that often gets overlooked, but plays a huge role in this balancing act, is data quality.
That’s where Data Pristine by forestallers comes in. Our goal is simple — to equip your teams with the right tools to keep your data clean, accurate, and useful. Fixing your data once isn’t enough because, just like clutter in your house, bad data always sneaks back in.
As Steve Jobs once said, “Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.”
Keeping your data clean and manageable is no different. It’s easier to tidy up regularly than wait years for a massive cleanup. Data Pristine helps you keep only the data you really need — whether it’s based on time, unused features, or obsolete processes.

What’s the big deal with bad data?
It slows down your systems, wastes resources, drags down employee productivity, messes up reports and dashboards, and even hurts user adoption.
On the flip side, cleaner data means smoother processes, happier users, and better decision-making — which ultimately boosts your SAP investment’s ROI and helps your business thrive.
Here’s what Data Pristine can do for you:
✅ Data Insights & Analysis:
- See your yearly and monthly data volumes by business objects
- Review data in custom tables (e.g. Z/Y namespace)
- Get visibility into change documents and log tables (broken down by year)
✅ Smart Data Deletion with Rollback Option:
- You decide which business objects to clean up
- Data gets deleted on your schedule, with data integrity fully protected
- If you change your mind, you can easily roll back the deleted data
At Forestallers, we even offer a free data analysis of your system. Plus, you can get data deletion with rollback functionality at a very affordable price.
